LeGrand receives Young Investigator Award from International Society of Information Fusion

The International Society of Information Fusion has announced that AAE assistant professor Keith LeGrand will receive their Young Investigator Award for 2025.

LeGrand leads the SCOPE Group at Purdue, advancing research in state estimation and tracking, information-driven autonomy, and space applications. His goal is to enable the next generation of intelligent sensors and vehicles through a combination of estimation, control, and information theory.

As winner of the ISIF Young Investigator Award, LeGrand has demonstrated outstanding contributions to the art of information fusion. The ISIF grants this award to encourage individual effort and to foster increased participation by younger researchers and engineers.

LeGrand will receive his official recognition and plaque in July at ISIF’s 28th annual FUSION conference, being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
