Purdue Graduate Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering Ranked #5 in the Nation!

AAE has moved up! The aeronautical and astronautical graduate engineering program is now ranked No. 5, higher by one spot, in the current US News & World Report rankings released Tuesday.

Purdue’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics has moved up! The graduate aeronautical/astronautical engineering program is now ranked No. 5, up by one spot, in the current US News & World Report rankings released Tuesday, March 29, 2022. The undergraduate aeronautical/astronautical engineering program is ranked No. 4 as of the previous report.

Purdue Engineering ranked highly across many other disciplines as well, with 11 out of the 12 departmental programs making it in the top 15 rankings in their field. Purdue’s graduate engineering program was recognized as No. 4 in the nation for the second year in a row.

The other highly ranked aerospace engineering programs are from MIT, Caltech, Stanford, and Georgia Tech. Among the Big Ten universities, two others have top-10 aerospace engineering programs: Michigan (Ann Arbor) at No. 6 and Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) at No. 7.
