The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics continues to be voted among the best undergraduate programs in the country.

AAE is ranked No. 5 in the U.S. News and World Report’s 2021 undergraduate rankings, released Monday. It is at least the 17th consecutive year that AAE has been in the top 6 in the “best undergraduate aerospace/aeronautical/astronautical engineering” category.

The USNWR Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs were ranked solely on peer assessment surveys by deans and senior faculty in those disciplines. To appear on an undergraduate engineering survey, a school must have an undergraduate engineering program accredited by ABET.

Purdue’s College of Engineering was ranked the ninth-best undergraduate program in the country in 2021, at schools whose highest degree is a doctorate.
