“It feels amazing to be chosen by the students as the ‘Favorite TA,’ ” said Gupta, whose advisor is Hsu Lo Distinguished Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics Kathleen Howell. “This means a lot to me, especially coming directly from them. Working with the students and helping them learn was a really rewarding experience, and I look forward to being in this role again in the future.”

Nazmy, a master’s student, spent the fall as a TA in AAE251, Professor Timothee Pourpoint’s “Aerospace Design” course.

“I am extremely happy and humbled to be voted as ‘Favorite TA’ by the students; these students motivate me to continue teaching as a TA,” said Nazmy, whose advisor is Karen Marais, an associate professor in AAE. “The thrill of teaching for me is unique and unmatched, and to know that the students also enjoy the experience is gratifying.

"I am excited to continue teaching as a TA next semester, and to help make learning enjoyable for more students."
