Purdue hosts major composites conference

AAE Profs. Wenbin Yu, Byron Pipes and Johnathan Goodsell served as chairs as Purdue hosted the American Society for Composites (ASC) Annual Technical Conference Oct. 23-25. More than 400 people attended the event.

The conference featured speakers focusing on topics such as new theories for composite materials and structures, manufacturing-informed performance for composites, simulation-driven composites design, efficient multiscale modeling, and chasing the limits with composites.

ASC provides a communication forum for the engineering and scientific community in composite materials.
