AAE Professor Kathleen Howell appointed to NASA Advisory Committee

AAE Professor Kathleen Howell has been chosen to serve on the Technology, Innovation, and Engineering Committee of the NASA Advisory Council.

Kathleen Howell, Distinguished Hsu Lo Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics, has been appointed the Technology, Innovation, and Engineering Committee of the NASA Advisory Council. The Council reports directly to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, and is the senior external advisory board which provides guidance in addressing NASA program and policy matters related to the United States civil space program. The scope of the TI&E Committee includes all NASA programs that could benefit from technology research and innovation. Professor Howell's will serve a two-year term, effective June 27, 2016.
