Purdue University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics Ph.D. student Ali Raz was acknowledged for service to the IEEE SMC 2014 conference by the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society.

Ali Raz presented his research paper at the SMC 2014 conference Large Scale System-of-Systems session. In addition to presenting his paper, he volunteered to assist the SMC2014 organization committee in managing daily conference activities and sessions. The IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics society presented a certificate to Ali Raz acknowledging services to the SMC 2014 conference.

Ali Raz is studying with School of Aeronautics and Astronautics Professor Daniel DeLaurentis in the Center for Integrated Systems in Aerospace (CISA). Professor DeLaurentis leads the CISA and the System-of-Systems Laboratory at Purdue University. Ali Raz's research interests include System-of-Systems and Information Fusion Systems, and in particular, developing methods for effective performance evaluation of information fusion system-of-systems.

The SMC 2014 is the flagship conference of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. It provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners to report up-to-the-minute innovation and development, summarize state-of-the-art, and exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of systems science and engineering, human machine systems, and cybernetics.
