Dr. Vikas Tomar, School of AAE, elected as Associate Fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)

Purdue University's School of Aeronautics and Astronautics professor, Dr. Vikas Tomar, has been elected to the grade of Associate Fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).

Purdue University’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics professor, Dr. Vikas Tomar, has been elected to the grade of Associate Fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). AIAA Associate Fellows are individuals of distinction who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics. Each year, only one for every 150 voting members are selected and approved. Dr. Tomar will be officially recognized as an Associate Fellow at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner in January 2015.

The purpose of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is to ignite and celebrate aerospace ingenuity and collaboration, and its importance in life. AIAA provides a vital lifelong link to the aerospace community and is a champion for its achievements.
