Mr. Scott Meyer, the Managing Director of Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories, has been named as a finalist for the College of Engineering Staff Awards of Excellence. Mr. Meyer is one of three finalists for the Leadership Award.

The slate of nominees was announced by Dr. Klod Kokini, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, College of Engineering. “Please join me in congratulating our colleagues for their achievements,” Dr. Kokini stated as he announced the nominees. “I also would like to give special thanks and recognition to all the nominators and nominees and to the College of Engineering Staff Awards Committee for their creative suggestions and hard work during the selection process.”

This year's awards are the first in a new recognition process which announces three finalists in each category; the actual award recipient will be announced at the Staff Awards Banquet, adding an element of surprise to the awards banquet.

The Staff Awards Banquet and Ceremony will take place on November 7, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. in the Shively Club at Ross-Ade Pavilion.
