Katya Casper wins Outstanding Service Award

Congratulations to Katya Casper who has been selected to receive an Outstanding Service Scholarship in recognition of her contributions to the school, college, and university. Katya is a doctoral student working with Prof. Steven Schneider.
Congratulations to Katya Casper who has been selected to receive an Outstanding Service Scholarship in recognition of her contributions to the school, college, and university. Katya is a doctoral student working with Prof. Steven Schneider.
Katya’s contributions to Purdue include:
- Co-leader of aerospace activity for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (2008-2011)
- AAE Research Symposium Series as co-organizer and graduate student judge (2010-2011)
- AAE Graduate Women Gathering Ambassador (2010-2012), where professional and social activities for AAE graduate women are planned.
- Purdue Space Day (2011) where she enabled elementary students to understand the principles of solar energy
