Jamie Renna is the Chief Engineer for all Commercial Aircraft at Sikorsky Aircraft, a Lockheed Martin Company.
He is responsible for all technical activities for the S-76 and S-92 aircraft models including design, development, integration, upgrades, sustainment/product support and future production objectives and strategies. He serves as the principal representative to the customer on technical matters and provides management oversight to all program engineering activities and requirements.
Renna has more than 32 years of aviation industry experience. Since joining Sikorsky Aircraft in 1987, Renna has held positions of increasing responsibility in the Test Engineering and the Dynamic Systems Engineering organizations. Most recently, he served as the Sikorsky Aircraft Director of Dynamic Systems Engineering, where he was responsible for all Dynamic Systems design engineering activities across the enterprise including rotor hub, drive system and rotor blade design groups, as well as for structural analysis including both Vehicle Systems and Dynamics Systems structural analysis.
Renna holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is also a member of AAE's Industrial Advisory Council and was recognized as an Outstanding Aerospace Engineer in 2010.
