The C Design lab offers formal and informal workshops on sketch inhibition and sketching for engineers.
Here the presentation is a formal sketch workshop done in one of the toy design classes. These workshops start from the simple mechanics of drawing straight lines and circles and progress to drawing 2D projections for quick concept sketching. More advanced sketching techniques build to boolean operations for creating more complex solids and sketching what you see. Advanced students can practice sketching from their imagination.
Much of our current emphasis is to enable a non-artist and any engineering student to become comfortable in quick sketching.
