Robert (Bob) Hill

Bob Hill has worked at Argonne National Laboratory for over 35 years with research focus on reactor physics, plutonium disposition, waste management, and fast reactor technology.
Dr. Hill served as National Technical Director for DOE-NE multi-Laboratory advanced reactor R&D activities for 15 years with work scope on small modular reactors, demonstration reactors, advanced materials, safety and licensing, and modeling and simulation.
Since 2022, his primary role has been Technical Director for the Generation-IV International Forum which conducts multi-lateral R&D collaborations on six advanced reactor technologies.
His contributions have been recognized by Argonne Distinguished Fellow, American Nuclear Society Fellow, ANS Cisler Medal, and Purdue Outstanding Nuclear Engineer awards.
