John Beering, BSIE 92 Senior Vice President and GM, Commercial Vehicle Transmission Business Eaton Corporation In January of 2013, John Beering was named Senior Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Vehicle Transmission business for the diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation. Beering was most recently vice president and general manager for Eaton's Global Vehicle Group Aftermarket and Clutch business. Beering joined Eaton in 2006 as director of global marketing for the Eaton Truck Group. Prior to joining Eaton, Beering worked at United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where his last assignment was as director of marketing for Pratt & Whitney's Large Commercial Engines and Service Business. He held positions of increasing responsibility with UTC at Pratt & Whitney and Carrier Corporation in manufacturing, engineering, program management and sales and marketing.
