Dr. Martin Lopez-de-Bertodano gave a keynote lecture at the Japan-US Seminar on Two-Phase Flow Dynamics in Tokyo, June 7-12, 2012.  The title of his keynote lecture was:

“ASSESSMENT OF THE FIRST ORDER UPWIND SCHEME FOR THE UNSTABLE 1D TWO-FLUID MODEL”
