Faculty and Graduate Students Honored at College Awards Luncheon
The Purdue University Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering proudly recognizes its 2025–26 Graduate Education Award recipients, who were honored at the Purdue University College of Engineering award luncheon.
This year’s honorees reflect excellence across research, teaching, service, and mentorship.
The Magoon Award for Research Excellence was presented to Zhuoli Yin, advised by Hua Cai. The Magoon Award for Excellence in Teaching recognized Abigail Boerwinkle (course instructor: Barrett Caldwell) and Don Kavitha Perera (course instructor: Wenzhuo Wu).

The Outstanding Service Scholarship was awarded to Rishab Shah, advised by Aliya Scott, while the Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award honored Dr. Barrett Caldwell for his exceptional guidance and support.
Faculty and staff joined in celebrating these achievements, including Susan Hunter, Dr. Caldwell, Dr. Wu, Dr. Cai, Dr. Scott, and Julia Sibley. Their presence underscored the school’s strong commitment to recognizing and supporting excellence within the IE community.
