Alum Waclawik joins IE development team
Purdue IE welcomed Philip (Phil) Waclawik to the IE development team on August 21 as a Director of Development. As a Purdue IE alum (BSIE 1983), he will play a key role in helping to engage his fellow IE alumni and further the school’s outreach.
Wacklawik served the past two years as Director of Development for Purdue’s Polytechnic Institute. Prior to returning to West Lafayette, he spent 32 years with IBM working in a number of leadership and managerial roles. Purdue IE is excited to have one of its very own graduates assisting in its philanthropic endeavors.
As a Purdue IE student, he was also a member of Alpha Pi Mu. He will speak at IE honor society Alpha Pi Mu's Sept. 21 meeting, "Alum Uncovered", from 6:30-7:30 PM in EE 117.
