Kuryla, undergraduate academic advisor in the School of Industrial Engineering, has been nominated for the New Employee Award, along with two other College of Engineering staff members.

On December 1 the winners will be announced at an invitation-only awards banquet, an annual event that recognizes and celebrates Engineering staff who have excelled in their commitment to the College.

In 2016, IE had three finalists for College awards, and Managing Director Steve Duket won the College's Leah H. Jamieson Leadership Award.
