Indianapolis

So you want to be an engineer...but what kind?
It can be difficult to understand the different types of engineering and where they can take you. If you enjoy solving problems where people, data, and industry intersect -- that's Industrial Engineering. Industrial engineers intuitively ask themselves, "How can this process serve people better, run more efficiently, and deliver better outcomes?"
Does that sound like you?
What kind of people are industrial engineers?
Self-driven individuals who like organizing, improving how things work, and solving big challenges. This is because Industrial Engineers work behind the scenes to make sure companies, hospitals, factories, and AI data centers run smoothly.
As an IE, you could take on challenges like:
- Improving how entire systems function and flow
- Making semiconductor production more efficient for companies like Intel
- Creating hospital systems that help to improve patient care
- Simplifying global supply chains for companies like Amazon, Nike, and Tesla
- Designing systems for data centers that power AI and cloud computing to move the world forward
