Alex Offenbach, May 2016 Graduate

Multidisciplinary Engineering, General Engineering

It's May in Indiana, and we couldn't be more proud that one of our recent alumni, Alex Offenbach, is out there supporting the Andretti Autosport Indy Lights team at the track. You just never know where you might bump into one of our amazing IDES/MDE family. If you are in Indy and at the races, keep an eye out for Alex!

Alex is a 2016 graduate in Multidisciplinary Engineering with coursework across disciplines, including mechanical engineering. He also minored in CAD from Purdue Polytechnic Institute and gained manufacturing experience in Industrial Engineering. While at Purdue, Alex was president of the Motorsports Club and drove in the Grand Prix for his fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi. “Motorsports has been an interest of mine my whole life, and Multidisciplinary Engineering was the only major that allowed me to shape my classes towards my unique interest. I also excel greatly in small classroom environments, and no other engineering discipline can offer that. THIS IS MUCH MORE THAN A PROGRAM, IT’S A COMMUNITY.”
