Research Interests

Professor Houze's current research interests are in the area of transport processes in two-phase, gas-liquid systems. Models have been developed to relate liquid-phase mass transfer coefficients to the relevant turbulence properties. Experimental studies have investigated gas absorption into a turbulent liquid and the nature of turbulence in a two-dimensional, stratified gas-liquid system with emphasis on the interfacial region.
