Can Li, Co-Director of the Purdue Center for Operations and Optimization in Process Systems (COOPS) and Assistant Professor in the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering, has been awarded a prestigious NSF CAREER Award.

Jeffrey McGlothlin, ChE Lab Associate, has been recognized for his dedication, innovation, and exceptional mentorship with the 2024 Staff Awards of Excellence.

Vilas Pol, Professor of Chemical Engineering, has received the Fulbright Specialist Award to Sweden, where he will contribute to meaningful work in chemistry education and advancement in Li-ion batteries.

Five ChE and one ABE students received awards at the 2024 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Conference in San Diego, California.

Two ChE professors were named in Clarivate’s 2024 list of Highly Cited Researchers, demonstrating their research excellence and influence in their fields. Both researchers have authored multiple papers that rank among the top 1% in citations in the respective fields, as recorded in the Web of Science from 2013-23. Eight Purdue researchers were named in total.
