WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Purdue University Davidson School of Chemical Engineering graduate program is ranked No. 14 in the nation in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings.

The ranking places Purdue among the nation’s top chemical engineering graduate programs and reflects continued excellence in research, faculty impact and graduate education.

The chemical engineering program is tied with peer institutions including Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The recognition comes as part of a strong showing for Purdue Engineering overall. The College of Engineering climbed to No. 4 nationally among nearly 200 graduate engineering programs, ranking No. 2 among public universities.

The U.S. News rankings evaluate graduate programs based on a combination of factors, including peer assessment, research activity, faculty resources and student outcomes.
