Davidson School of Chemical Engineering Professor John Morgan is part of a Purdue University research team that has described a complete second pathway used by plants to produce phenylalanine, a compound important for all living organisms. Their findings have been reported in the journal Nature Communications.

Davidson School of Chemical Engineering Professor Vilas Pol has been awarded $50,000 from the Trask Innovation Fund for continued development of his novel research in sustainable, low cost sodium-ion batteries. Dr. Pol is leading a research team in the discovery of Sodium Powder Technology for Sustainable, Low Cost Sodium-ion Batteries.

Purdue Davidson School of Chemical Engineering has announced its schedule of Spring 2019 Graduate Seminars, featuring a slate of outstanding speakers well-known in their respective fields. All seminars are free and open to the public, and will be held in the Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering.
