New fuel-related technologies to advance through private, public partnership

Swift Fuels, Purdue University, and the Purdue Research Foundation have entered into a collaborative research agreement to work to develop and commercialize new fuel-related technologies. The agreement calls for faculty and researchers at Purdue's Davidson School of Chemical Engineering to work with Swift Fuels on the technologies. Swift Fuels develops proprietary techniques to enhance the value of fuels, which it then licenses to industrial oil and gas companies.

Purdue Process Safety & Assurance Center to host 2019 Spring Conferences

The 2019 Purdue Process Safety & Assurance Center (P2SAC) Spring Conferences will be held on May 7-9 in West Lafayette on the Purdue University campus. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn about important process safety research in several areas of interest during the three-day event. Nearly 100 attendees have registered, a new record, from a diverse spectrum of industry and academia.

Dr. Fabio Ribeiro selected to receive 2019 Giuseppe Parravano Award

Dr. Fabio Ribeiro, the R. Norris and Eleanor Shreve Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University and Director of CISTAR, has been selected to receive the 2019 Giuseppe Parravano Memorial Award for Excellence in Catalysis Research. He will receive the award during the 40th annual Michigan Catalysis Society (MC-NACS) Spring Symposium to be held on May 7 at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
