Graduate Student Caleb Miskin’s presentation “Solution-Processed Energy Harvesting Electronic Devices Using Amine-Thiol Solvent Media,” was selected as the top presentation in the Electronics and Photonics, Materials Engineering and Sciences Division at the 2015 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Meeting.

Miskin was one of seven finalists who presented a talk to a panel of judges at the AIChE Conference on Monday, November 9. The finalists were judged based on demonstrated excellence in electronics or photonics related research and evidence of outstanding promise for future achievements in the field.

“It was a humbling honor, as there were several other outstanding talks,” Miskin said.

Miskin is advised by Professor Rakesh Agrawal. His research focuses on one of 14 grand challenges for the 21st Century, as selected by the National Academy of Engineering. His work is dedicated to making solar energy economical.
