Parekh and Choudhari Achieve Top Honors at Catalysis Symposium
May 29, 2014 - Two Purdue Chemical Engineering graduate students took the top honors at the Michigan Catalysis Society Spring Symposium this year.
Atish Parekh, a fourth year graduate student from Mumbai, India, earned the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award for his research about emissions from diesel automotive exhaust systems.
Harshavardhan Choudhari, a fifth year graduate student from Thane, India, received the Outstanding Poster Presentation Award for his research into converting biomass to hydrocarbon fuels.
Both students are advised by Professors Fabio Ribeiro and W. Nicholas Delgass. Choudhari also is advised by Professor Rakesh Agrawal.
