The Chemical Engineering Safety Committee has been selected to receive the 2014 Purdue Presidential Safety Award in recognition of the School’s safety efforts.

The Purdue Board of Trustees ratified the appointment of Dr. Caruthers as the inaugural Gerald and Sarah Skidmore Professor of Chemical Engineering.

Haefa Mansour was selected from 600 applicants to represent Purdue at the 18th “Posters on the Hill” event in Washington, D. C.

Richard W. Korsmeyer (MSChE '80, PhD '83) and Antonios G. Mikos (MSChE '85, PhD '88) were among the ten men and women honored on February 21 as the 2014 Distinguished Engineering Alumni. The award is presented to Engineering alums who have distinguished themselves in any field in ways that reflect favorably on Purdue University, the engineering profession, or society in general.
