Graduate Student Sara Yohe Received a 2013 Kokes Award for the 23rd North American Catalysis Society

Sara Yohe

Sara Yohe is one of the recipients of a 2013 Kokes Award for the 23rd North American Catalysis Society (NACS) meeting in Louisville, KY, June 2-7.  The Richard J. Kokes Travel Award program of NACS aims to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to attend and participate in this biennial conference. This award is sponsored by the North American Catalysis Society. In addition, significant support will be provided by government agencies such as NSF and US-DOE. This is a very competitive award with over 200 excellent applications submitted for approximately 100 awards being granted.

Sara joined the School of Chemical Engineering in August 2008. She is advised by Professors Agrawal, Delgass and Ribeiro. She graduated in 2008 with a BS in chemical engineering and a BS in chemistry from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and a BA in applied science with a mathematics minor from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.
