Chemical Engineering Has Named Its Outstanding Chemical Engineer Awardees For 2012
The School of Chemical Engineering is recognizing 6 Outstanding Chemical Engineers as alumni who have achieved distinction as leaders in their careers and have shaped the chemical engineering profession.
The School of Chemical Engineering has named its Outstanding Chemical Engineer Awardees for 2012. The School has a tradition of recognizing alumni who have achieved distinction as leaders in their careers and who have shaped the chemical engineering profession.
The 2012 award recipients are:
- William R. Clark, BSChE 1982, MSChE 1994, M.D., is Vice President of Medical Strategy at Gambro AB, a global dialysis company.
- Bruce E. Dale, PhD 1979, is Professor of Chemical Engineering and former Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Michigan State University.
- Marilyn Glenn Forney, BSChE 1947, is volunteer leader of a non-profit organization. She was the first woman appointed to the Delaware Magistrate Selection Committee. She served six years on the Delaware State Human Relations Commission and was its Education Chairman.
- Gregory R. Lewis, BSChE 1982, retired as Corporate Vice President, Global Risk Management and Chief Ethics Officer of Lubrizol. He is currently vice president at the Ethisphere Institute.
- Richard A. Narta, BSChE 1980, is Global Feedstock & Optimization Manager, ExxonMobil.
- Steven J. Swanson, BSChE 1971, MSChE 1972, PhD 1975, retired as Global Process Engineering Manager for Chemicals Major Projects, Shell Oil Company.
