Donald R. Miller (PhD '84) will receive the 2012 AIChE Industrial R&D Award. This is among the few Institute-wide Awards for industrial practitioners.  Dr. Miller is Senior Director with Pfizer and  will receive the award at the AIChE Annual Meeting to be held in Pittsburgh during October 28 - November 2, 2012.

His citation reads: "For outstanding achievement in the industrial practice of chemical engineering toward the successful development and commercialization of pharmaceutical and biomedical products."
