Sarah Atanasov’s "Particle Cohesion Characterization for Industrial Powder Manufacturing" paper won the first place at the 2010 Regional AIChE Paper Competition, held in Athens, Ohio. Sarah’s paper is based on research done in Dr. Beaudoin’s laboratory. After graduating in May 2010, Sarah will pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering at North Carolina State University.

Sarah is also the recipient of the 2010 Spring Undergraduate Book Scholarship from the Engineering Research Center for Structured Organic Particulate Systems (ERC – SOPS).
