Brian Lowry, ChE Senior graduation in May 2010, won the 1st Place in the Undergraduate Student Poster Competition at the ASEE IL/IN Sectional Conference held at Purdue in April. The research for his poster titled “Catalytic Oxidation of Glycerol to High-Value Chemicals” was conducted under the direction of Professor Arvind Varma and with the help of graduate student Wenbin Hu.
