Davidson School of Chemical Engineering will organize the Women in Chemical Engineering Symposium on April 6, 2019 at Purdue, in Forney Hall. This event is sponsored by Shell and Purdue ChE Pipeline Center, and is open to all Purdue Chemical Engineers.

Registration is now open. Click here to register by March 17, 2019. Registration is required and space is limited.

Check-in and breakfast begin at 9:00 a.m. The program starts at 9:30 a.m., and will conclude at 2:15 p.m.

The Morning Session will include an opening lecture and panel discussions with ChE Alumni in three areas:
  1. Careers in Research
  2. Leading Technical Professionals
  3. Non-Traditional Careers for Chemical Engineers
The Afternoon Session consists of two workshops: 
(1) Hidden Pitfalls of High-Achievers and (2) Creating your OWN brand
 
Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
 
Stay with us from 2:30 – 3:30 pm for an optional “Cookies and Conversation” session of informal networking and building tours!
