Chemical Engineering Kids Day is a FREE event designed to provide students in grades 3 - 5 with the opportunity to learn about chemical engineering and science by participating in age-appropriate activity sessions throughout the day. This event is hosted by Omega Chi Epsilon, the national chemical engineering honor society.

Our guest speaker will be a chemical engineering professor who will share experiences while demonstrating to the children what chemical engineers do. In addition, students will also get to participate in exciting engineering experiments!

Space is limited so apply early – apply online by ​February 16t​h, 2018.

Lunch is provided! Students will also receive a goodie bag!

When: Saturday, March 3, 2018; 12:30PM – 4:00PM

Who: Students in grades 3 – 5. Parents and teachers are welcome to attend along with the students, but are not required to attend.

Where: Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

Check-in is in Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering from 12:00PM – 12:30PM

Confirmation​: Important - a confirmation packet with detailed information about the day including a schedule, activity information, maps, and parking information will be sent to you after the application is received. Upon arrival, a release form and photography waiver must be signed before participation is allowed.

Cost: Free – Please make your own travel arrangements to and from campus. Lunch and a goodie bag will be provided.
