Under general supervision compiles and authors NEPA documentation. Gathers, compiles and analyzes land use, economic forecasting, demographic, environmental, and other related data. Performs field investigations, surveys, studies or other research in order to compile and analyze data on environmental impacts. Creates surveys, exhibits, and other meeting materials as necessary, to identify areas of public concern and facilitate public and stakeholder input. Reviews transportation plans for compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws. Collaborates with engineers to research, analyze or resolve complex transportation conceptual/schematic design issues. Contributes to firm's TKM by assisting in the development of white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc. Performs other duties as required.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline. 1 year of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
