Corporate Scholarships
Corporate and non-profit scholarships are available to students in the Division of Construction Engineering and Management at Purdue. Students are encouraged to search for scholarships on their own, and we will pass along opportunities that we receive.

Privately-Funded Scholarships
These scholarships are available to all CEM students and are awarded to students demonstrating the most need or merit based on individual scholarship eligibility requirements. Award amounts vary.
Currently, there is no application process for these scholarships as all CEM students are considered based on their eligibility. If you have questions, please contact an academic advisor.
- Beavers Heavy Construction Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need and merit. One or more scholarships are awarded per year. Recipients must be a domestic student as defined by the University, must be an upperclassman majoring in an engineering curriculum directly applicable to the heavy construction industry, and should have the professional goal of achieving a career in the heavy construction industry as established by one or more of the following: stated intention of pursuing a heavy construction career or internship experience in the heavy construction industry.
- BMWC Constructors, Inc. Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need and merit. Recipients must hold a minimum 2.75 GPA and be a resident of any state in the Midwest.
- Bob F. Jesse Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need and merit. One or more scholarships are awarded per year. Recipients must be a Domestic student as defined by the University, be enrolled in Construction Engineering and Management at Purdue University, and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Bowen Engineering & Blue Company Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need and merit. One or more scholarships are awarded per year. Recipients must be enrolled in both the Krannert School of Management and the Division of Construction Engineering and Management at Purdue University. Recipients must hold a minimum 3.4 GPA. Preference is given to students with experience participating in an internship program. Preference is given to students who are residents of Warren, Hamilton, or Marion County in Indiana.
- Bowen Engineering Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need and merit. One or more scholarships are awarded per year. Recipients must be studying Construction Engineering and Management and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- CEM Alumni Construction Engineering Trustee/Presidential Scholarship - This scholarship is based on merit. Recipients must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarship administered by Dean of Purdue's College of Engineering.
- Clark Hyman Omni Co. Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need and merit. Recipient must be a Domestic student as defined by Purdue University, enrolled as a senior, and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Clements Family Scholarship - This scholarship is based on merit. Recipients must be an undergraduate in Construction Engineering and be a recipient of a Trustee or Presidential scholarship.
- Devin Dorn Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need. Recipients must be enrolled in Purdue's Construction Engineering and Management program and be a resident of Indiana. This scholarship was established in memory of Devin Dorn (BSCNE 2008) and is administered by Purdue's Division of Financial Aid.
- DVK Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is based on merit. One or more scholarships are awarded per year. Recipients must be enrolled in Construction Engineering and Management and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Freshmen who are not yet enrolled in the program may be considered if it is determined that they have a true interest in obtaining a degree in Construction Engineering. Preference is given to students involved in the Women in Engineering, Society of Women Engineers, and/or Women in Construction Engineering Management programs. This scholarship was established by Margaret "Peggy" Newquist (BSCNE 1986) in memory of her father, David V. Kenealy, who instilled in her the belief that she could do anything she set her mind to and who always supported her non-traditional career choice.
- Frank Stubbs Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need. The scholarship is administered by Purdue's Division of Financial Aid. This scholarship was established in memory of Frank W. Stubbs, Jr., who was a professor of Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering and Management at Purdue University.
- J. Gilbert Helmkamp Scholarship - This scholarship is based on merit. Recipients must be enrolled in Construction Engineering and Management and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Jack Haldrup Construction Engineering Scholarship - This scholarship is based on merit. Recipients must be enrolled in Construction Engineering and Management and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients may renew the award for three years if they continue to hold a minimum 2.5 GPA after the initial award. Preference given to descendants of Irving Materials, Inc. employees, descendants of construction industry employees, or residents of an eligible county.
- Lloyd Jones Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is based on merit. Recipients must be a junior or senior enrolled in Construction Engineering and Management and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients must have completed two CEM internships and must be nominated for the scholarship by their intern sponsor company. This scholarship was established in memory of Lloyd Jones, Purdue CEM's first Director of Internships.
- Maria and Daniel Halpin Scholarship - This scholarship is based on merit. Recipients must be enrolled as a junior or senior in Construction Engineering and Management and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to students with an interest in the design and improvement of construction operations. This scholarship was established by Anne Bigane Wilson (BSCNE 1979) in honor of Maria M. and Daniel W. Halpin when Daniel retired as Head of the Division of Construction Engineering and Management.
- Michuda Family Scholarship in CEM - This scholarship is based on merit. One or more scholarships are awarded per year. Recipients must be enrolled in Construction Engineering and Management and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to residents of the Chicago metropolitan area or Northwest Indiana counties, including Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall Lake, McHenry, and Will.
- Tim Turner Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is based on need. One or more scholarships are awarded per year. This scholarship was established in memory of CEM student Tim Turner.
