Purdue University will host a workshop on Financial Assessment of P3 Projects in Transport Infrastructure on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 2:30-5:30 PM (EST). The event will be held at the Purdue Graduate Student Center, Room 105.

Organized by the FHWA’s Build America Center Purdue Campus team in association with American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI), the workshop will feature Dr. Cesar Queiroz, Transport Infrastructure Consultant (World Bank), and will provide practical tools for evaluating the financial viability of public-private partnership (P3) transport projects. The event is supported by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) student chapter and the Civil Engineering Graduate Student Advisory Council (CEGSAC). Participants will explore project finance concepts, P3 structures, risk allocation, and apply the World Bank’s Financial Modelling Toolkit through hands-on exercises. The event is hybrid, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available. The event has attracted over 200 registrations.
