PhD student Bruno Cesar Krause Moras has been selected as an International Road Federation (IRF) Fellow for the Class of 2026. This fellowship has been the cornerstone of the careers of many who are now leading figures in the realm of roads and transportation globally.

Bruno is a doctoral candidate in Transportation and Infrastructure Systems at Purdue University. He researches the adoption of emerging mobility technologies, such as electric vehicles, and their impact on existing transportation systems. Bruno has held leadership roles in ASPIRE (Advancing Self-sufficiency through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification) and the Purdue University chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). He has been recognized for his contributions to transportation research and engineering teaching with several awards, including the Outstanding Graduate Research Mentor Award and the Lyles Teaching Fellowship.

The IRF Fellowship Program, established in 1949, has supported the professional development of over 1,440 students from 118 countries, advancing the mission of building safer and more efficient road networks. The program aims to develop future leaders in transportation engineering and policy, equipping them with the tools to create meaningful improvements in global transportation systems.
