4:30 - 5:30 pm – The Art of Teaching, lecture by P. Gulkan (Forney Hall, G140)

October 12 (Friday):

9:00 - 10:00 am – 10-minute talks by Purdue Ph.D. grads (Bowen Lab, Rm 1003)
10:00 - 11:00 am – Open mic + slide show (everyone is invited to speak for 5 min and use 2 or 3 slides) (Bowen Lab, Rm 1003)
11:00 am - 12:00 pm – Closing with talks by S. Wood, T. Fiorato, and L. Garcia (Bowen Lab, Rm 1003)

12:30 - 2:00 pm – A tour of Joan and Mete's "Barn" (includes lunch)
