Award Honors Distinguished Civil Engineer

Chicago, IL – September 13, 2010 – Greeley and Hansen, a leading national niche firm specializing in practical engineering, architectural, and management solutions for complex water, wastewater, and infrastructure challenges, recently presented Purdue University’s School of Civil Engineering with an additional donation of $30,000 in support of the Elmer F. Ballotti Memorial Fellowship.

“This fellowship is a fitting tribute to Elmer Ballotti’s many years of dedicated service as a principal of Greeley and Hansen and his numerous career accomplishments within the civil engineering field,” said John C. Robak, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Greeley and Hansen. “We believe the Civil Engineering program at Purdue University is one of the best in the country, and we are proud to strengthen our partnership with the University by providing additional funding for this important fellowship that recognizes outstanding future civil engineering students.”

Established in 1996 by Greeley and Hansen, the fellowship honors the late Elmer F. Ballotti, an alumnus of Purdue University (’52).
