PhD student awarded scholarship from International Air & Waste Management Association

Hamed Zamenian
Ph.D. student Hamed Zamenian is the recipient of a $2000 scholarship from the Indiana Chapter of the International Air and Waste Management Association for his active participation and outstanding leadership as a student member and former Vice President and Treasurer of the Purdue Student Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association (PAWMA).

Ph.D. student Hamed Zamenian is the recipient of a $2000 scholarship from the Indiana Chapter of the International Air and Waste Management Association for his active participation and outstanding leadership as a student member and former Vice President and Treasurer of the Purdue Student Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association (PAWMA).

Hamed expects to finish his doctoral studies in May of 2017 and came to us with his M.B.A. from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, his MSCE from Purdue at IUPUI. He is also pursuing the Environmental Policy Certification Program in the Department of Political Science, School of Liberal Arts at Purdue University. His main areas of interest are water resource management, waste to energy technologies, and sustainable asset management. Hamed and Prof. Jacko will travel to Indianapolis on December 10th to accept the award.
