Built in 1967, this two-girder steel plate girder bridge carried I-90 over the Mississippi River for nearly 50 years. Having been recently replaced by the Minnesota DOT, Ames Construction donated some specimens to the S-BRITE Center including two sections from what are some of the industry's deepest steel girders at 21'-10" deep.
