Biography
Martin R. Okos is a professor in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. Martin earned his B.S. in Food Science, M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering form The Ohio State University. He was promoted to the rank of Professor in 1983. He currently teaches and does his research in food process engineering, computer-aided design of food processes, heat and mass transfer in foods, fermentation and biological reactor design, and properties of food and biological products. He received the 1990 School of Agriculture Outstanding Agricultural Research Award.
