Alexander “Alex” S. Kruse was recently elected to serve as Judge of the City Court for the City of Lebanon, Indiana. Alex is a 2008 graduate of the Purdue University Construction Engineering and Management program and graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2011. He has been in private practice since graduation and has been in his solo practice since 2019.
Although Alex was unopposed in the election, he nonetheless had to obtain the Republican ballot nomination because no one filed to run for office in the May primary election. Local leaders supported Alex and nominated him to the Republican ticket for the November 2023 municipal election. Alex faces the unique task of “restarting” the Lebanon City Court because the City of Lebanon has been without a city court for approximately a decade.
As City Court Judge, Alex will primarily be involved with litigation concerning city ordinance violations and infractions under Indiana state law, as well as continuing his private practice. Congratulations to this Purdue CEM Alumni for his recent success.
