Soumyadeep Chandra

Soumyadeep Chandra received his B.E in Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering (ECE) from Jadavpur University, India, in 2020. He then worked in PwC India as a technology consultant in the domain of Blockchain framework in 2020. In Spring 2021, he joined the Center for Brain-Inspired Computing (C-BRIC) as a teaching assistant in the ECE department of Purdue University where he is pursuing a Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Kaushik Roy. His research interests lie in neuromorphic computing and in-memory computing. He's currently exploring Spiking Neural Network application for Reinforcement Learning targeted at aerial drones. His hobbies include playing badminton, table tennis (ping pong), football, and computer games.
