Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering Welcomes New Faculty Members
The Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University is set to expand its faculty ranks this fall with the addition of three accomplished professionals: Hugo Caballero, Hyesun Chung, and James Mann.

Hugo Caballero will join the school as an Associate Professor of Practice, bringing hands-on industry expertise to the classroom. Hyesun Chung will take on the role of Assistant Professor, contributing fresh scholarly perspectives and research energy to the program. James Mann rounds out the trio as a Professor of Practice, lending his wealth of professional experience to Edwardson's applied learning mission.
Together, these appointments reflect the school's continued commitment to blending rigorous academic inquiry with real-world industrial engineering practice — strengthening both its research portfolio and its reputation for producing practice-ready graduates.
The Edwardson School looks forward to the contributions these new faculty members will make to students, colleagues, and the broader industrial engineering community.
