Nan Kong and Collaborators Highlighted in ISE Magazine
Advancing the use of data analytics to support healthier aging, Nan Kong and his collaborators were recently featured in an issue of Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers’s ISE Magazine.
The interdisciplinary team, including Yulun Xu, Suiyao Chen, and Mingyang Li from the University of South Florida’s Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, along with Hongdao Meng from the School of Aging Studies, developed a healthcare data analytics framework designed to better understand how aging affects different groups of older adults living independently in the community. Their findings could help healthcare providers and organizations create more effective, targeted health promotion and intervention programs.
