Fong was selected as a 2024 IISE Fellow for his outstanding leadership and service to IISE and contributions to the field of industrial and systems engineering.

 

Prior to joining Purdue University he held strategic positions where he led Lean Six Sigma initiatives, promoted product innovation and quality compliance, and developed and launched new product lines. 

 

Additionally, as a leader in the IISE community, Fong served as the president of the Milwaukee IISE chapter. During his time there he led membership drives and professional development activities, which led to recognition for the revitalization of the chapter.  

 

Since joining the School of Industrial Engineering as Director of the Professional Master's Program, Fong has worked to develop strong partnerships with industry leaders such as Intel, GE Aerospace, Eaton and more. These partnerships have given students in the Professional Master's Program exceptional hands-on learning experience.
