This year several IE faculty members were honored at the Faculty and Lecturer Excellence Awards, hosted by the College of Engineering. Gesualdo Scutari received the College of Engineering Faculty Excellence Award for Research. Additionally, Scutari was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar, as was Wenzhuo Wu.

Stephan Biller who was recently appointed as the Director of the Dauch Center for the Mangement of Manufacturing Enterprises, was recognized as the Harold T. Amrine Distinguished Professor of Industrial Engineering. Young-Jun Son was honored as the James J. Solberg Head and Ransburg Professor of Industrial Engineering.
